How to read the the character parameters more than 8 in length in to character array, (PCAV.MAC is the text file containing the character strings in the first column - see below), and also right now am specifying the dimension of the array initially by scalar parameter II (which equals to number of character strings in PCAV.MAC), is there any away of directly reading the character strings into NEW_PC without specifying its size before hand. Please help.
