For your case, 1% delta in density does make a difference. For the most apps it is a matter of reference as long as the information is not too far off. In all honesty, I'm not sure whether we should be trusting the vendor datasheets more than the posted props on Matweb. In theory, Vendor info should be most accurate - In practice,ah, that's a different story. Time and time again this hasn't been the case and I bet a good deal of XANSYS members have been burned by the vendor-supplied info. The ultimate is to test the material at hand, sampling many batches & suppliers BUT who has the time and $$$ for that. Case in point: during my previous employment in the automotive industry we used to have thin hot rolled steel that due to rolling experienced different cooling rates from the center to the edges. That reason alone affected material properties and performance that didn't become apparent until we did a 100 % material audit.
I'm sure others will chime in with similar experiences.

Incidentally, I just happened to check another steel grade on Matweb for which I already have a data sheet from the manufacturer. The density listed on Matweb is different from what the manufacturers data sheet claims. The difference is only about 1% but that is sufficient to cause problems when trying to design as close as possible to minimum weight rules. Leaves me wondering how many other times I have trusted Matweb too much in the absence of proper vendor datasheets.

I dont see Young's Modulus listed, but there is a data sheet on page 28.
The composition is listed a the top of the page. Try and match that up with another material on MatWeb. It's a fair bet that similar chemistries
will result in similar structure and similar Young's Modulus.
