Now I have more information than I really wanted. A single room temperature value would have been much easier. I am currently doing a quick hand-calc study to compare the impact of different steel grades on the mass and stiffness of a part. Up until now I have been quite happy to only consider the room temperature properties. Now that I see how much GKH changes up to the actual operating temp of 150C, I'm probably going to have to track down some temperature dependent properties for the other steels as well to make sure one of them isn't significantly more stable than the others. Ignorance is such bliss.....

Oooops!
Rick, you are right (this is embarrassing)! I apologize to you and the list, and give the value according to StahlEisen Handbuch 10th Issue, Tafel 69: Grd C | Value in GPa -100 | 217 0 | 213 20 | 212 100 | 207 200 | 199
I will try to improve (no hope, I fear!)

Jan, these numbers are tensile and yield strengths. I think he's asking for Young's Modulus.

Hello all,
I am trying to track down a reliable number for the Young's modulus of an Aubert & Duval nitriding steel sold by the name GKH(also with Y or YW to indicate the remelt processing). It also goes by 32CrMoV13 and AMS 6481. I've checked all the places I can think of, including the data sheet we have from A&D and don't seem to be able to find a modulus number. Tried to register for A&D's website and that failed several times.
Also want to apologize for my last message. I sent it with my Lotus Notes "stationary" that has all my info on it, but it appears that the stationary didn't make it through on the message sent out from xansys so my full name and affiliation weren't present.
