Hello,

You need the plot the Amplitude Vs Phase angle in /post26. Choose the
phase angle at which the amplitude is high (or of your interest). In
/post1 , expand the results for that phase angle using HRCPLX command. I
think, this is what you are looking for. A good treatment of this subject
is available in www.ansys.net.

Thanks & Regards,

Subject: [Xansys] amplitude for harmonic solution

Hello,

is there a possibility or a trick to display the amplitude of the
displacement for a harmonic solution in /post1 ? As far as I know you
just have the real and the imaginary part in /post1 for each
frequency
step and you can have a look at the amplitude of single nodes in
/post26. I would like to have a picture of the displacement of the
whole
structure and not just curves for some points.

I'm working with ANSYS 11.0.

Thanks for any help,
Erik
