This is a ridiculously complex problem for an undergrad.
My suggestion is to talk to your professor and simplify. A possible
solution is to perform and compare the flow analysis on the nominal shape
and a post-buckled shape. The post buckled shape should be assumed a
priori.
"A priori" is a fancy way of saying that you know the shape before you start
the analysis.
When you are done you need to look back on how you put yourself into this
impossible position. You can't possibly complete analysis, post processing
and writing of a project like this in under a week. At least not complete
it with sufficient quality and attention to detail. But if you can then I
probably can't afford to hire you.
Good luck . . . Fern
