Hi Antonio

You need to specify how the heat is dependent on the temperature or some
other boundary condition. If you have neutron fluence (?) specified and
then maybe the heat generation is a function of the neutrons, and maybe
this is a function of temperature or deformation. This would require an
iterative procedure, but the overall flow chart of what variables other
variables is needed, first.

Subject: [Xansys] [STRUC][THERM].About transient time stepping

Hi all,

I'm trying to run a thermo-mechanical transient simulation using direct
coupled method with plane13 elements. My problem is that the generated
heat I have follows a time dependent law governed by nuclear physics
which I've obtained using another code. I would like to impose that load
in my problem, with an appropiate tie stepping, but after RTFM and RTFM
again and looking through the verification manual I don't see very clear
how I could do this. There's a lot of information, I know I should use a
data table and some more things, but I'm having real difficulties to put
it all in order and define a correct path to follow. Does anyone with
experience on this could recomend me some kind of tutorial or give me a
hand on it? Thanks in advance
