Hi César,

Are you performing thermal analysis? If yes, you just need to apply the DOF
constraints by using the D* command family.

If you are performing structural or Emag analysis, then the temperature is
a body load. You will need to use the body-load command family such as [BF]
to apply the temperatures as you described.

See ANSYS manual Sec.2.5 of the Basic Analysis Guide for detail.

Dear all,

I want to apply a temperature gradient on a beam and I do not know how I
can do it.
My problem is mainly that the temperature of the top of the beam is 0º and
the temperature at the bottom of the beam is 40º.
Can anybody tell me how I can apply this kind of load?

Thanks a lot.
