Subject: Re: [WB11][STRUCT]- It is possible in WB11, to define asolid

Ciprian,

Depending on your application, it may be an option to use solid
shells and solid bodies to solve your problem. Your solid shell bodies
must be surfaces that can be swept mesh. This can be accomplished by
slicing your model appropriately. Since you have solid bodies, then you
can select them in Design Modeler and make them a part. Then in
simulation, you can assign surfaces to be a solid shell by inserting a
method under the mesh branch. Select your geometry, Set Method to Sweep
and Src/Trg Selection to Automatic thin model (alternatively, you can
specify a different thickness with manual thin model). I hope this might
be of some help.

You can connect solids and shells using bonded contact. If you are
asking can you form a multi-body part from surface bodies and solid
bodies then the answer is no.
