Subject: sandwich plate properties

Hi all,



I suppose some of you know plates made like sandwiches.

We are in a very early state of our design and we just know it should be a sandwich (isotropic and light) and nothing else. The dimensions are 1m by 1m and 100mm to 200mm thick.



I am going to model this thing with solsh190. My problem is what material data I use for the aluminium covered by two CFRP layers. Are there any rough numbers that you could share? Or is there any other choice then aluminium?
