Todd,
Hi
The default value for the time delay changed to
half a second. If you recreate the animation with
a time delay of say one tenth of a second, the animation
playback will speed up to a nice level IMHO.

ps You set the time delay in the field (GUI) right under
the number of frames field in the animation creation window.
