Martin,
you might want to try on of the following:
1. Merge KP, under /prep7->Numbering Ctrls->Merge Items, with the maximum
value you can afford for the range of coincidence.
Then, add volumes not more than two at a time.
or,
2.If volumes allow map mesh them with same /esize at the common boundaries
and then merge nodes.
Carefull with the "Range of Coincidence". If too big, can cause severe
element distorsion and give problems with Jacobian ratio.
or,
3. The hard way, delete one of the two areas that should entities in common
and recreate the surfaces with the adjacent "volume's" entities.
