Subject: linear or non-linear?

Dear All;

I conducted static analysis of a simple structure. I found the deflections are
quite different for option large deflection (using NLGEOM) and those using
linear one. That is, for linear analysis, I got large deflection; so I choose
non-linear one, but got small deflection. Any criteria on whether non-linear
analysis?
