The proposal from John to have a universal area integral tools in ANSYS would
allow the users to test their results for consistency (force integrals from
stresses), allow to calculate magnetic fluxes from 3D scalar results without the
need to construct own macros, and also the CFD people should be interested in
such a feature for 3D calculations. For a lot of physical quantities that
integral depends in the borderline of the area only so that only a limited
number of new items had to be created in ANSYS.
So I would strongly support the continuation of John's work.
