Shaomin,

I do not know this about Pro/E. But I have meshed in GAMBIT. And ANSYS
requires that you put everything in x-y plane. So for your 2D model in
Pro/E
if it is in y-z plane for example you have to align this with the x-y palne
for ANSYS
to understand the meshed model/geometry. It worked for me.

Hi all

For assembly who consists of two parts with different coordinates in ProE.

In Ansys, 2 D modeling for one part caused the follow message: "the plane is
not pallel to x-y plane and can be meshed by planar element".

But I can not get the coordinates of this part in ProE to be consistent with
Ansys ? I have no idea what is the reason ?

Best Regards
