Subject: Meshing problem Author: Tom Davis Date: 2002-07-23 15:33:00I get the following error when trying to mesh a volume. I have tried changing the mesh density but get this error every time. Can anyone tell me what is causing it and how to get around it?
*** ERROR *** CP= 205.410 TIME= 14:24:02 Volume 9 cannot be meshed. A gap between triangle facets on the boundary exist. Check line 20.
I have looked at line 20 and can find nothing wrong. There is clearly something screwy with the geometry but I can't find it. I had been trying to add some pretension elements and goofy things kept happening so I decided to remesh the volume. After clearing the solid 92 elements from the volume, I can now not mesh at all.
I'm using 5.6.1.
Thanks.
