You may do the following commands:

antype,...

autots,on
timint,off
kbc,0

time,1e-6
nub,1,1,1
... (loads)
... (constraints)
save
solve

fdele,all,all
ddele,all,all
time,4
timint,on
nsub,...
... (loads)
... (constraints)
save
solve

That error is because of you don't put any "time" command.

All,

I am trying a transient dynamics problem as per the example in
the manual. I get the following error, I am sure I am missing
something very basic , can anyone please help me here, in
the transition to ansys from nastran.

*** ERROR *** CP= 0.000 TIME= 00:00:00
Present time 0 is less than or equal to the previous time in a
transient analysis.

*** ERROR *** CP= 0.000 TIME= 00:00:00
The step data was checked and there were errors found.
Please check output or errors file ( ) for messages.
