Subject: modeling species transformation

Hello Everyone,

I am working on some problem where I am trying to model flow through porous
media, with heat interactions. I can get that part. Now the next thing is that,
that porous media consists of some chemicals. These chemicals would vaporize as
we heat them, and hence its a species transformation and transport problem. I
can see how we solve for species transport. But here the species change their
state and then there is some kind of sink term which would finally make all the
species disappear, since the vaporized gases are sucked out. I was wondering if
some one can show me the direction in which I should be working, or any
suggestions would be really helpful.

Thanks for your time,

Regards,
