Yes, but in your second sequence you also issued an ALLSEL command before
applying the pressures. This selected all of your elements, so ANSYS was able
to figure out what element faces were defined by your node set. If you had
left the ALLSEL out, you would not have gotten any pressure definitions - i.e.,
the use of a component did not change the behavior of the SF command, you got
your pressures simply because you now had elements selected.
