Subject: ANSYS Trivia Question - SDSG TDSG
Author: John Crawford
Date: 1999-07-12 09:51:00

Does anyone know what the acronyms SDSG and TDSG stand for? I seem to
remember reading in a tutorial or seminar notes a few years ago that
SDSG was something like Stress Deviation Stress Gradient, and I assume
that the "T" in TDSG stands for Temperature or Thermal, or something
similar. I'd appreciate hearing if anyone can answer these questions
and provide the location of their definition in the ANSYS documentation.
I understand the mathematics behind SDSG and TDSG, I just don't know
the 4 words they are acronyms for. A word search in the online
documentation yields the mathematical definition, but fails to provide
any hint of what SDSG and TDSG are acronyms for.

Thanks.
