Using more than one processor definitely reduces solve time.

Here are some results from a job I ran on an SGI Power Challenge

running IRIX 6.2 using R10000 processors

I used 400 Mb workspace and 32 Mb for DB space

Results are in min:sec

1 Processor   2 Processors    4
Processors

CPU Time
12:51
9:34
7:37

Wall Time
14:15
11:19
9:29

This is obviously not a huge model but it does illustrate

the benefit of multiple processors.
