Subject: Superelement Load Vector
Author: Doug Scott

Does anyone know where the superelement load vector is stored?

I was doing a contact problem that took almost 13 hours. I made one of the
parts a superelement and added a unit pressure load to the substructure. I
then ran the same analysis with this superelement and it only took about 2
hours. Pretty good and it even had the same results. So now it's time to
play with the time steps and FKN.

I first changed the time step and it ran in only 13 minutes, but that was
because there was no pressure from the load vector. I ran my macros again
to read in the superelement and apply the load vector, but I can't tell if
the pressure is there (plotting or with SFELIST).

I'm using 5.7.1 on an NT box.

Any clues as to what's going on?

Thanks, Doug Scott
