Try the following statements in a macro with a name
such as "test.mac" to see that no window is opened
to display the results. The result shows up in the
usual Output Window, and in the parameter "lengsum_".

/com,Test LSUM and *GET to see "Sum of Line Lengths"
lsum
*get,lengsum_,line,,leng
*status,lengsum_
