Date: 2001-04-12 11:04:00Stresses are calculated at the Gauss points, then extrapolated to the nodes.
When you issue PLNSOL or PRNSOL, ANSYS calculates an average nodal value
using the values associated with each (selected) element that is attached to
a particular node. Use PLESOL/PRESOL to investigate the differences between
nodal and element values.
