hallo,

Hallo,

at first you have to create a etable with the nedet data.

For example:

/post1

elable,mforx,smisc,1
etable,mfory,smisc,7

plls,mforx,mfory

A definition of the possible results see element manual.

Josef Pollmanns

and then select inn post

Betreff: [xansys] Bending Stresses in Beams

Dear users

I want to plot bending stresses in beams. But I am facing few problems.
Please help me to sort out these problems.

for BEAM3/4, by LS option I can plot bending stresses. But the plot is
showing me zero stresses. Why? I have taken a simple cantilever beam. Please
let me know my mistake.

Also, this option is NOT available for BEAM 188/189 elements. So how can I
plot bending stresses for these beams?

Thanx in advance
