No rating yet Subject: How to simulate..... Author: shridhara gh shridharagh@ Date: 2001-02-01 08:50:00Hi everyone I wanted to simulate a hot plate being compressed between the two rolling mills. The rolling mills are rotating with Some RPM. I assume all out side atmaspher to be natural Convection,and the heat transfer between the hotplate and the rolling mills is only through the Conduction.Can Any one tell me how to model this type of heat transfer in ANSYS ( I wanted to simulate the condetion when the rolls are rotating. The contact region of heat transfer changes with time).I am intrested only in temperature distribution in the rollars.Any suggetions are welcome. Thanks Shridhara.G.H
