Subject: Contact Resistance (fwd)

Hello:

I am a new Ansys User and am solving following axis symmetric problem:

Two cylinders (un equal diameter) at different temperatures come in
contact at time t=0 and they remain in contact. I am interested in
studying how the temperature varies with time at various locations. I have
done this without any contact resistance between them. I went through the
portion of Ansys manual which describes the contact elements but I am not
very clear about how I can implement it. I think I should use contact48.
How and what real constants should be used? And which entities should the
real constants should apply to?
I am using APDL. Please let me know if you have a simple example file
which might help me.

Thanks and best regards,

-Shivesh
