In that case, spending the extra effort to slice and dice so you get a mapped mesh is almost certainly not worth the effort. I should point out that I am usually not a big fan of automeshing and have probably spent years producing mapped brick meshes. As I type, I have a mapped mesh solid model still running from last thursday. It should finish tonight. If it had been automeshed with tets, runtime would increase to months. You will likely produce some triangles which are somewhat undesirable but most of your elements will be better shaped . In some cases, a global "esize" may work better. Try higher order shells as they model curved surfaces better.
