Dave:

I was curious too, so I went to www.yahoogroups.com and discovered that
there were some steps to be followed to link all the groups I had subscribed
to in egroups into the new yahoo groups system. When you first go to
www.yahoogroups.com look for the link for existing egroups members.

In the process, you are asked for your email address and egroups password.
If you have forgotten your password (I did) you indicate as much and in
a few seconds yahoo emails you an access code. Just enter that.
So far so good.

Next, you are asked for a yahoo ID and password. I already have one
so I entered it. If you don't have a yahoo account you apparently are required
to
request one.

Thta's about it. It took me less than 2 minutes. I'm not clear on where the
pain and the suckiness come from.
