Stefano,
I've just been reading in an ADAMS News brochure about a study performed by
Orion Bus Industries, and it seems that in USA there is a new regulation
regarding safety of Buses. The American Public Transportation Association
(APTA) require a test where 4000 Lb vehicle hits the side of the bus at 25 mph.
The pass criterion is that there should be no more than 3 inches of permanent
deformation of the wall into the passenger compartment at seated hip level.
