Again why I

In some circumstances, ANSYS will draw a big black rectangle to "erase"
the graphics window, expecting that the image is being drawn on a black
background. Perhaps that is what is happening here. I seem to recall
seeing this most often when using multiple graphics windows (/WIN), i.e.
windows 2 through 5.
