Subject: VEXT-error
Author: Juha Tyllinen
Date: 1998-12-15 08:19:00I don't recall having seen this before so...
The VEXT-command seems to include a check whether the end face
would be in the same plain as the original area. This may be new in 5.5
or maybe just the following behaviour is new.
It seems that the check is done in CSYS,0 regardless of the active CSYS.
That is the coordinates increments are read as global for the purpose of
this check.
However, the extrusion is done in the active CSYS as the documentation
states. As a result of that perfectly valid extrusions fail and some
accepted
extrusion result in zero-volume parts.
The following should illustrate what I mean.
