Brent,
at 5.5.1 the contact wizard won't show up in the menu if you imported
geometry with the default iges or "allow defeature" option on the connection
products.
The problem is in the file /ansys55/docu/UIMENU.GRN
I put a updated UIMENU.GRN in ftp://ftp.concurrent.com/pub/update/UIMENU.GRN
that will fix this problem.

If you didn't import geometry, just mesh the deformable parts of your model
first then click
Preprocessor -> Create -> Contact Pair -> Contact Wizard

I installed 5.5 today and was eager to try out the new contact wizard.
The problem is I can't find how to start the wizard up. I did a quick
search through the online help and came up with nothing.

Also my Mechanical toolbar doesn't seem to work is there something
special that needs to be done?

Any help would be appreciated.
