Someone once told me to issue these commands to help with importing iges
models (issue before importing):

/FACET, NORMAL
/DEVICE, VECTOR, 0

I have tried these and they seem to work. Before issuing the commands I
had open edges, after issuing the commands and importing it seemed to
work fine. I am slightly confused because these are actually the
default conditions. Maybe someone can explain this to me.

BTW I was importing an IGES file created by Cadkey. Maybe someone can
explain this to me.
