Yes, I have. I sometimes use Rhino to "translate" IGES from EMS (Intergraph) to ANSYS (using the DEFAULT option).
Here the usual parameter settings for IGES translation are reported.
IGES tolerance: 1e-005 IGES unit: none
GENERAL Name: ANSYS IGES version: 5.3 Text file type: CRLF (MS-DOS,WINDOWS) Scale: 1
POINTS AND CURVES Points objects: 116 (Separate points) Max degree: no limit Composite curves as single b-spline: OFF Use simple entities when possible: ON Fit rational curves: OFF Clamp end knots: OFF
SURFACES Solids: Separate surfaces Polysurfaces: Separate surfaces Surfaces: 143 Max degree: no limit Use simple entities when possible: ON Fit rational surfaces: OFF Clamp end Knots: OFF
Hope this helps
