I had similar problems when going to Solaris 5.6 and ANSYS 5.4. Eventually I had to stop using dual processors of our serverand limit it to using one processor only. This fixed all the crashes at the expense of doubling the run time.

Have recently had an operating system upgrade to version 2.6 on Sun sparc's. Still running ANSYS 5.4.
Since OS install, now seeing a lot of crashes in ANSYS. Following type problems seen
- Arthemetic exception - Bus Error - Segmentation Fault or Violations - Error - cannot perform realloc.
Has anyone else experienced these kinds of problems on Sun, and if so, any fix/work arounds ?
