The "ansys" command launches ansys from a command line and
"-m" is a flag for that command. When you launch ansys interactively,
it essentially takes all the info. from the window and issues the "ansys"
command with a bunch of flags in a command window (nt).

I launched it with the interactive window. I read the index help on memory management, so I knew to use the ansys -m ( ) command, but was obviously not entering it where it could be used. I will look for "total workspace" the next time. I tried looking for any command that would help and I suppose I could have overlooked this one. Do you recall what menu it may be under? Thanks.

How do you launch ansys?
If by command line, then add the flag -m xxx where xxx is the workspace size
in MB. If, however, you launch with the "interactive" window, look in the middle
of the window for "Total Workspace" .

I took the Rhino IGES file and was able to transfer it to SolidWorks. I saved it as IGES file from SolidWorks and reloaded into Rhino- no problem. I took the same IGES file from SolidWorks and attempted to load into ANSYS 5.5, NT. However, I received a heap space error saying I should increase workspace. Should I try to load on UNIX for better result? How do I change the workspace size on the NT?
